92: Interview | Tim Whitaker on Imagining a New Evangelicalism

This week we are excited to share a wonderful conversation we recently had with Tim Whitaker, Founder of The New Evangelicals, an online community for folks who are deconstructing their faith and finding themselves without an immediate spiritual community. We talk about a wide variety of subjects including Tim's story (which is eerily similar to several aspects of our's), how the Bible is used, the importance of honesty & humility, the danger of partisan politics, maintaining healthy relationships (and boundaries) with people we have strong social/political disagreements with, and more. And make sure you stick around for the story Tim tells at the end, probably the best answer we've had to a final question in the history of the podcast.
